The Footman were the fighting men, soldiers, and bodyguards of kings in the Scriptures who usually went on foot from those who rode on horseback or in chariots. They were brave warriors who were quick and swift on their feet (Exodus 12:37; 1 Samuel 22:17; 1 Kings 1:5).
